A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I am a first-generation Trinidadian American photographer and filmmaker based in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.
With a deep passion for storytelling, I am dedicated to shifting the misrepresentation of marginalized communities—starting with my own. My work is characterized by a deep empathy for my subjects and a commitment to portraying them authentically and empowering them to reclaim their narratives.
ABOUT MY PROCESS
My approach to visual storytelling is rooted in authenticity and respect. As a first-generation creative, I draw from my lived experiences to honor my subjects through thoughtful and intentional photography. I strive to create work that challenges stereotypes and celebrates individuality.
Through years of academic study and creative exploration, I've developed a deep understanding of beauty and representation within the Black community. My sacred lens creates a space for my subjects to take control of their own identities and tell their stories freely.
